Joshua Hettwer - Recording Engineer

Joshua Hettwer is a musician known for his versatile musical abilities. As a performer, Joshua is well-known for his mastery of single reed instruments and made a name for himself touring with the Cherry Poppin' Daddies as their alto saxophonist and clarinetist. Upon his arrival to Chicago in 2018, he has explored more diverse musical opportunities, including performing with the Four Star Brass Band and La Peña Orchestra. Joshua has performed in seven countries and 23 U.S. states. As a recording artist, Joshua appears on 17 studio albums in a multitude of styles; of these, five were recorded and/or mixed by him. He graduated from the University of Oregon with his bachelor's and master's degrees in jazz studies, where he garnered awards and honors for his prowess in performance and arrangement. Some of his musical heroes include Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Anderson .Paak, Gabriel Kahane, Marvin Gaye, Radiohead, Natalia Lafourcade, Prince, Weird Al, Frank Ocean, Ariana Grande, and Outkast. Joshua currently lives in Hyde Park with his wife and their beloved kitty.
